Day 3

Hadeeth 3

The Holy Prophet [s] said: "Surely, human beings from the time of Adam up to now are the same as the teeth of a comb are, and there is no superiority for the Arab over non-Arab or for the red race over the black race except for piety."

Meal 3

Cream of Broccoli Soup

  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 2-3 cups water
  • 1 cup regular milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Tsp. black pepper
  • ½ magi cube
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

Benefit From Bilberry

Studies are mixed, but some have found that bilberry, a relative of the blueberry, may improve night vision. During World War II, fighter pilots reported better night vision after eating bilberry jam. Take 25 to 50 milligrams of bilberry extract; expect best results within the first few hours.

3rd of Ramadan

  • The prophet set out for the battle of Tabuk, 8 H
  • Revelation of the Scrolls of Ibrahim

Fasting - A Body/Mind/Spirit Healing

Allah the Almighty says in the Qur’an:

“And seek (Allah’s) assistance with Patience and Prayer; and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for those with full submission. Who are certain that they are going to meet their Lord and that unto Him they are going to return.” 2:45-46

Numerous Prophetic traditions interpreted the ‘Patience’ in the Ayah as ‘fasting,’ which means fasting is the very first element of the spiritual journey to God. All the prophets in their spiritual journey have been seeking assistance with fasting.
