Man's Situation in the Intermediate Realm

The present existence of an intermediate realm and of separate destinations there for the virtuous and the wicked is a well-founded religious belief. There can be no doubt that after death the spirits of men the only element within them that is truly essential are transferred to the vast expanse of the non-material world.

Ramadn Sweets

Everyone loves to indulge in the delicious taste of sweets especially during the holy month of Ramadan. It adds to the enjoyment of Iftar and sweetens the holy season. But it is essential to point out that most of the sweets eaten during this time are made from flour, sugar, oil, ghee and nuts (baklava, kunafa and katayef). This brings us to the topic:

Is it OK to have sweets everyday?

Yes you can, as long as it is eaten in moderation.

Hadeeth 14

The Holy Prophet [s] said: "He who searches for knowledge is similar to a person who fasts during the day and keeps vigil at night and is busy worshipping. If a person acquires a branch of knowledge, it is better for him than possessing as much gold as the height of Abu Qubais Mount which he would distribute in the way of Allah."
